About SEMOVIS mission
Very-high-resolution Earth observation payload combining sub-meter VIS/NIR imaging and high-resolution SWIR.
The SEMOViS project is part of ESA’s InCubed programme and is led by Marble Imaging with Scanway as subcontractor.
It aims to develop a very-high-resolution (VHR) optical payload for a future satellite constellation. The first satellite launch is planned for Q1 2026. The two-year project includes full development, integration, and commissioning of the payload.

SOP 450
Scanway Optical Payload
The instrument features a sub-meter resolution imager operating in the visible and near-infrared (VIS/NIR) bands, combined with a high-resolution short-wave infrared (SWIR) channel. It is designed to deliver very-high-resolution data for commercial Earth observation applications.
