About ScanSAT Mission
Prototype Earth observation telescope for CubeSats developed by Scanway, ready for orbital integration.
In 2017, a research project was initiated to develop a prototype of a CubeSat-class Earth observation nanosatellite with a proprietary optical payload designed by Scanway. One of the key milestones was the signing of a letter of intent with German Orbital Systems regarding the potential future deployment of the satellite into lunar orbit.

SOP 3U/80
Scanway Optical Payload
Earth observation telescope with in-house designed optics, developed for CubeSat platforms. The system features an athermal structure, sub-4 meter ground resolution from 500 km altitude, and is scalable for 3U–6U formats.
Available in multi- and hyperspectral versions, with optional integration with laser communication systems.
