We are approaching a day of particular significance for Scanway, which will mark the culmination of a series of efforts by our entire team and all the advisers involved, who have actively supported us over the past few quarters in carrying out this year’s public offerings and the process of listing the company on the NewConnect market. The hard work we have put in together has enabled us to join the ranks of public companies as an entity with a carefully planned strategy, which will allow us to achieve our ambitious goals and continue our dynamic growth. I believe this will be to the benefit of the Company and all the investors who have placed their trust in us over the past few years. We find ourselves at a favourable moment for the Polish space sector, and as Scanway we intend to contribute significantly to its growth as a future leader in the field of optical instruments for small satellites – comments Jędrzej Kowalewski, Chairman of the Management Board of Scanway S.A.
As part of its industrial solutions, Scanway specialises in developing proprietary vision systems for the quality control of finished products, raw materials and the production process. About Scanway:
Scanway is a Polish company operating in the field of observation technology and quality control. The company develops and commercialises two business lines: products for the space sector (optical instruments for Earth observation and satellite self-diagnostics) and for industry (vision systems).
Scanway is the only organisation in Poland – and one of just a dozen or so companies worldwide – to have developed a comprehensive technology for Earth observation and the self-diagnostics of satellites and spacecraft. The company offers complete systems based on its own dedicated algorithms for image processing and analysis. As part of the STAR VIBE mission in 2023, a satellite was launched carrying a imaging system and an optical telescope developed and manufactured in the company’s laboratories, thereby enabling Scanway to establish flight heritage and provide the best images from space ever obtained by Polish research instruments. The company is also a key consortium partner in Poland’s largest space projects, including EagleEye and PIAST. In addition to the intensive development of its two business lines, the company also aims to exploit synergies between them and bring solutions used in space back to Earth. As Poland’s first commercial supplier of spectral instruments for space, Scanway provides space technologies tailored to the needs of large manufacturing plants, primarily in the field of quality control. The versatile HyperEye scanner enables continuous 100% quality control of products on high-throughput production lines, which helps, amongst other things, to reduce production costs.
