Scanway S.A.’s new visual identity aligns with the global Deep Tech aesthetic and the New Space movement, symbolically marking the Polish company’s entry into the next stage of its development. The current corporate brand reflects Scanway’s global ambitions and is part of a strategy that is preparing the company for further international expansion and its debut on the main market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
A new logo and a new visual narrative
Scanway S.A. is introducing a new brand identity and visual narrative—a well-thought-out change that reflects the Company’s direction of development. Today, Scanway S.A. is a company with a global reach and a leading representative of the New Space movement—Poland’s leading exporter of space technology and one of a dozen or so major players in Europe with the potential to expand into the U.S.
– We set two key goals for ourselves. First, we wanted our new visual identity to fit well with the style and aesthetics of the global Deep Tech and New Space sectors. Today, we’re building a global presence—we’re a company that’s recognizable and visible worldwide. We are currently able to provide our solutions to publicly funded national satellite constellations in Europe, the United States, and Asia. Our goal is to increase our competitiveness on a European and international scale, with an emphasis on product quality and speed of implementation. In this context, building a recognizable corporate brand on a global level is of great importance to us – says Jędrzej Kowalewski, President of the Management Board of Scanway S.A. – Second, the new logo is intended to highlight the synergy of our activities and the seamless flow of technology and expertise between the sectors in which we operate: space and industry, where solutions developed in one field enhance the capabilities of the other – he adds.
– At Scanway, we operate in two areas. On the one hand, we supply products to the space sector, and on the other, we aim to bring space down to Earth—by introducing innovative solutions in industry, factories, and businesses – emphasizes Mikołaj Podgórski, COO of Scanway S.A. – “We have been pointing out for quite some time that a key direction for Scanway’s development is the creation of comprehensive solutions covering the entire optical data chain—from acquisition, through processing and analysis, all the way to event prediction,” he adds.
Scanway’s new logo features a distinctive graphic element—a pixel—that reflects the company’s core business area: imaging. The refreshed brand reflects the company’s business model as a provider of integrated optical technologies covering the entire data chain—from acquisition, through processing and analysis, to prediction (APAP). Ultimately, the company aims to cover all areas of the optical processing chain in order to offer comprehensive services in the field of data-driven decision-making (this means not only analyzing the current state of, for example, the Earth’s or the Moon’s surface, but also providing support in predicting upcoming changes and taking action to improve quality of life—for instance, in climate-related or business matters, and in the industrial sector with regard to quality control).
– I believe that visual storytelling is of great importance and can be very meaningful. The logo change is symbolic for us—it shows that we are evolving and entering the next stage of our development. The new corporate brand reflects Scanway’s ambitions and is part of a deeper strategic transformation that is preparing us for stronger international expansion and our upcoming debut on the main market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. We are finalizing the prospectus—we will soon submit it to the Polish Financial Supervision Authority and hope to make our debut as early as 2025. We want the Polish stock exchange to be proud of representatives such as Scanway S.A.—technologically advanced companies that operate globally and build their value on innovation. – emphasizes Jędrzej Kowalewski.
In practice, Scanway’s rebranding also means moving away from the separate Scanway Space and Scanway Industry brands. From now on, the company will operate under a single brand—Scanway S.A.—in its dealings and communications with all stakeholders.
New Website
Along with the rebranding, a new website, www.scanway.pl, has been launched to replace the previous sites. The new website integrates all areas of the Company’s operations. It also features examples of implementations and applications of products at the highest technology readiness level (TRL 9) in specific operational environments, including
in missions involving Scanway products. Designed in accordance with the corporate design guidelines, the new website meets the highest communication standards expected of a publicly traded company (including an expanded Investor Relations section) as a knowledge platform about the company for investors, the media, future customers, and business partners.
The Marketing Department of Scanway S.A. was responsible for the concept and execution of the rebranding and the new website design. The design, development, and implementation of the website were entrusted to Kreatica Studio.
