PLANETARY SCIENCE MISSIONS

Delivering visual data for geological analysis, surface morphology studies, and observation of planetary atmospheres or plumes.

High-performance imaging systems for scientific exploration missions.

Space exploration relies on advanced imaging systems to observe and analyze celestial bodies across the Solar System. High-resolution space cameras capture detailed imagery of planetary surfaces, moons, asteroids, and comets—supporting terrain mapping, landing site selection, navigation, and contextual science. Visual data from space missions enhances our understanding of geology, composition, and activity beyond Earth, enabling breakthroughs in planetary science, resource identification, and mission design for both robotic and human exploration.

SOP

Scanway Optical Payload

Scanway Optical Payload is a product line of satellite cameras for various remote sensing applications dedicated to integrating with nano- and microsatellites. Our payloads are able to image the space object’s surface in different spectral bands (RGB/PAN/NIR/SWIR) and multispectral with GSD from <1 to 25 m/pixel.

SOP space cameras have an athermal design that maintains high imaging quality parameters Imagery obtained with SOP has many applications, such as monitoring natural disasters, studying climate change, supporting agriculture and urban development, and object classification.
