About OTTER Mission
OTTER mission aims to verify marine vessel positions by optically confirming their signals using CubeSat-based observation systems.
OTTER mission, led by DLR and launched with ISAR Aerospace, aims to verify the positions of marine vessels by optically confirming their signal data using CubeSat platforms. The mission includes advanced miniature payloads for Earth observation and maritime monitoring.

Scanway Optical Payload
SOP 1U/65 is a compact 1U optical telescope developed by Scanway for Earth observation in RGB bands. Designed specifically for CubeSats, the system provides visual data for verifying maritime signals. One flight model has been delivered to a European integrator for launch on the OTTER mission.
