About PIAST Mission
Polish dual-use nanosatellite constellation for EO developed under the SZAFIR program with full domestic production.
Development of the Polish ImAging SaTellites (PIAST) — a precursor to a Polish Earth observation nanosatellite constellation under the SZAFIR program. The project is carried out in cooperation with the Military University of Technology, the Space Research Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Łukasiewicz Institute of Aviation, Creotech Instruments S.A., and PCO S.A. The aim is to create a dual-use satellite system for defense and government purposes, with key technologies developed and manufactured entirely in Poland.
