Small Telescope for Advanced Reconnaissance Vision Inspection Boom Experiment

Mission details

About STAR VIBE mission

Scanway’s first in-orbit demonstration mission validating Earth observation and satellite self-inspection systems.

STAR VIBE is a demonstration mission launched on January 3, 2023, aboard a Falcon 9 rocket during the Transporter-6 mission.

The 6U CubeSat platform, developed by German Orbital Systems, serves to validate the STAR optical payload and VIBE satellite self-inspection system in low Earth orbit.
