    Scanway Named Recommended Subcontractor in the Winning Bid for the Construction of the Camila Satellite Constellation

    Scanway, a Polish leader in space-based observation technology, has been included among the recommended subcontractors in the tender selected by the European Space Agency (ESA) to carry out the Camila (Country Awareness Mission In Land Analysis)—the largest civilian satellite constellation in the history of the Polish space sector. The project leader is Creotech Instruments, which on April 10 of this year signed a contract with the ESA worth 51,925,511 EUR, of which EUR 26,330,560 will be allocated to work planned to be carried out by eight subcontractors, including Scanway. The project is scheduled for completion in December 2027. This bilateral project between the Ministry of Development and Technology and ESA is funded by Poland’s contribution to ESA for the years 2023–2025, which was increased in August 2023 by an additional 360 mln EUR.

    Scanway increased its total revenue in 2024 by 78% to 12.5 mln zł, while its backlog grew nearly fivefold to 17.1 mln zł

    Scanway has published its results for the fourth quarter of 2024, as well as cumulative results for the 12 months of 2024. Over the four quarters of 2024, the company generated its highest-ever total revenue of 12.5 mln zł, up 78% year-over-year. Total revenue for the fourth quarter alone amounted to PLN 4.1 million, an increase of 91% compared to the same period in 2023. Scanway’s backlog (order portfolio) as of December 31, 2024, stood at PLN 17.1 million, nearly five times higher than the PLN 2.9 million reported as of December 31, 2023. Contracts executed in 2024 in the space segment, as well as new agreements and partnerships entered into, contributed significantly to the Company’s all-time high revenue and substantial backlog. Over the past year, the Company established a total of nine new collaborations that directly support its strategic growth priorities.

    Scanway will implement vision systems based on its proprietary Hydra design for Fabios, a company in the food industry

    Scanway, a Polish technology company that develops optical systems for the industrial and aerospace sectors, has received an order to implement vision systems for inspecting protein casings at Fabios’s production facility in Małopolska. For this project, Scanway will utilize the Hydra system, which it has been developing over the past few quarters—a modular vision system that includes, among other components, proprietary software based on artificial intelligence (machine learning) algorithms.

According to official data, in 2024 it ranked among the top companies with the highest share of trading volume among NewConnect investors, and in the last quarter it ranked 7th out of 359 listed companies. Scanway S.A. has been actively supporting the development of the space economy for many years, and today it is already creating groundbreaking technologies. This year, the company will deliver its telescope for a lunar exploration mission, marking a landmark event for the entire Polish space sector.

    Scanway Supports Lunar Exploration – Two Projects Involving the Company Have Been Selected for Phase A of the ESA Program

    Scanway, a leading Polish technology company in the New Space sector, will support projects under the Small Lunar Missions program launched by the European Space Agency (ESA). A total of 62 projects were submitted to the program, and 7 of them qualified for the preliminary Phase A. Scanway is a consortium partner in two of these projects: Mani and LUMI. Work on the lunar missions is scheduled to begin in December 2024, and the Mani project has just launched. This is another step by Scanway aimed at expanding its product portfolio with solutions that go beyond the Earth Observation (EO) domain and at participating in the growing lunar economy.

    Intuitive Machines—a global leader in commercial lunar exploration—has chosen Scanway. The Polish company will explore the surface of the Moon.

    Scanway is launching a partnership with the American company Intuitive Machines. As part of the order received yesterday, the Polish company will supply an optical instrument for mapping the Moon’s surface. The mission featuring the Scanway telescope is scheduled to launch by the end of 2025. This is the first commercial order in the history of the Polish space sector in which a Polish company will supply an optical instrument for a lunar exploration mission. Intuitive Machines is a U.S. company listed on NASDAQ with a market capitalization of approximately $1.9 billion (as of December 19, 2024).

    Scanway is expanding its partnership with South Korea’s Nara Space Technology and will supply two more telescopes with a total value of 0.7 mln EUR

    Scanway, a Polish technology company in the New Space sector, has signed a contract with South Korea’s Nara Space Technology under which it will supply another optical instrument for Earth observation in the form of two telescopes designed to detect methane. The new contract, worth 0.7 mln EUR, expands the existing cooperation with the South Korean partner, which began with an agreement earlier this year and a first contract on May 13 of this year worth 1.7 mln EUR.
