Space Situational Awareness
Optical solutions powering real-time space domain awareness
Satellite imagery as a core element of SSA and SDA system concepts.
As orbital traffic increases, high-resolution optical payloads are being considered as a future component of integrated Space Situational Awareness (SSA) and Space Domain Awareness (SDA) architectures Although not yet deployed operationally in this context, onboard space cameras have the potential to provide valuable visual data—capturing nearby spacecraft, debris fragments, uncooperative objects, and anomalous behaviors.
This concept assumes the use of optical imagery to complement traditional tracking methods, enabling enhanced object identification, orbit verification, and proximity monitoring in autonomous or hybrid SSA systems.

SCS
Scanway Camera System
Scanway Camera System is a series of vision systems designed mainly for supporting various missions and decision-making by delivering quality imaging data.
Products of the SCS line can support such space activities as spacecraft monitoring, in-space operations and servicing, docking missions, and more.
SCS space camera series products vary from simple camera systems able to record the video of the process flow to advanced machine vision solutions consisting of cameras, storage, and data processing units able to acquire, process, and analyze image data.

SOP
Scanway Optical Payload
Scanway Optical Payload is a product line of satellite cameras for various remote sensing applications dedicated to integrating with nano- and microsatellites. Our payloads are able to image the space object’s surface in different spectral bands (RGB/PAN/NIR/SWIR) and multispectral with GSD from <1 to 25 m/pixel.
SOP space cameras have an athermal design that maintains high imaging quality parameters Imagery obtained with SOP has many applications, such as monitoring natural disasters, studying climate change, supporting agriculture and urban development, and object classification.
Other Applications
A flexible optical payload ready for integration into diverse satellite applications and space missions.
